Police Detective Inspector Joseph Kwadwo Agyare, prosecuting, told the court presided over by Mr Eric Baah Boateng that the complainant Evans Asiedu is a mason residing at New Yakasi, while accused lived at Old Yakasi both in the Aowin Municipality.
On March 23, this year, complainant returned from town and detected that his mobile phone valued at GH¢280.00, a pen drive valued at GH¢50.00, memory card valued at GH¢30.00, boxer shorts valued at GH¢10.00 and cash sum of GHC50.00 had been stolen from his room.
Detective Agyare said at about 0060 hours on March 25, complainant again discovered that thieves had drained all the fuel from his tricycle, which he parked in his compound after close of work.
He said on March 29, around 3.00 am, while the complainant was asleep, the accused sneaked in and the complainant woke up, but Bullu sensing danger quickly left the room and fled into the nearby bush.
