Employers in Ghana given 30 days ultimatum to provide lists of PWDs employed

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations hereby requests all public and private employment agencies, to compile and submit the number of Persons Living With Disabilities (PLWDs), employed by their respective organizations within 30 days of this publication.

The numbers should be disaggregated by gender, that is, total number of Males/Females employed.

? Employers should indicate whether their PLWD?s employees are being paid commuting allowances, to facilitate their movements as required by the Disability Law.

Employment agencies are to submit the information in both soft and hard copies to tallyansahasiedu@ymail.com or akobensa@yahoo.com, or delivered to the Office of the Chief Director of the Ministry.
