?? Kofi Adams, current Deputy General Secretary is stretching Yaw Boateng Gyan when it comes to visibility, campaign message and endorsements.
?? Kofi Adams? campaign message of empowering the grassroots and re-energizing the party structures seems (on paper) to have resonated with the rank and file, and he has been receiving massive endorsements.
While Mr. Adams who is spokesman for party founder, Jerry Rawlings has not been heard leveraging on that position in his campaign, his detractors are rather using that to urge delegates to vote against him.
?? In spite of this, the endorsements keep pouring in for the former Deputy National ?Youth Organizer, with the latest from far away in Philadelphia in the United States of America (USA) where Raphael Armaatoe a former Head of MONICORD for the Peoples Defence Committee (PDC) AND Committee for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR)? in the Krachi and Kpando Districts of the Volta Region writes:
?? ?I made two attempts to reach him today to give him my support and encouragement when I read about the law suit against him but I had a busy tone
?Hello! Kofi Adams,
?? ?It’s rare to find people in political positions to take such a decision as you have taken not to contest for a high position but to contest for a position lower in ranks than the current one you occupy because you deem it proper and fitting for the grass root re-engineering of the party
?Even this humble gesture seems to be a threat to others who see the position they are now occupying as an exclusive right but ” No weapon formed against the Christ prospers
?? ?Only be steadfast in your commitment and your efforts will bear fruit.
We love and admire you. Keep on Keeping on.
? ?Raphael H. Armaatoe.?
?? In a latest twist, Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North, Hon. Emmanuel Aboagye Didiaye, who went to court because of what he described as an orchestrated attempt to disqualify him from the contest for the National Organizer position has announced his withdrawal of the case and his decision to support the bid of Kofi Adams.
?? Meanwhile, George Lawson, the Second Deputy General Secretary, Allotey Jacobs, newly elected chairman for Central Region and Brogya Genfi, Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer have also thrown their weights behind Kofi Adams.
