Eno Barony, a prominent female Hip-Hop artist, has responded confidently to her inclusion in Graphic Showbiz’s compilation of Ghana’s greatest rappers.
In an interview with Cape Coast’s Property FM, Barony expressed her lack of surprise at seeing her name listed among the top rap artists in Ghana, attributing it to her substantial legacy in the genre.
“I’m not surprised that my name was included in the list of the greatest rappers in Ghana because, like Obrafour, I’ve left a significant mark on the music scene,” she asserted. “Reggie Rockstone, Okyeame Kwame, and others have also made profound impacts, and I’ve similarly cemented my legacy, particularly in Ghanaian rap music.”
Barony emphasized her pioneering role as a female rapper: “The history I have made and the records I have set will be remembered forever. You cannot discuss rap music in Ghana without mentioning my name.”
Reflecting on her achievements, she confidently stated, “With my contributions to the music scene, it’s not surprising that Graphic Showbiz included my name in their list of the 12 greatest rappers in Ghana’s history.”
