Seidu BomisomMr. Thompson who chaired the event, promised to give the winner of the “Best referee of the season” and the “Best footballer of the season” award categories an extra $1000 aside the PLB’s prize packages.

A statement from the Ghana Football Association on Wednesday said Mr. Ashford Tetteh Oku made the cash presentation to the referee on behalf of the Board Chairman of SSNIT.

The PLB Vice Chairman also presented a $1000 cash bonus on behalf of Mr. Thompson to Ashantigold midfielder Eric Opoku last week, after he emerged as the “Best footballer of the season”.
