PUTIN TO VISIT NEW DOSTOEVSKY MUSEUM
Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit the Moscow House of Dostoevsky museum complex, opening on the 200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Putin is expected to attend the main exhibition of the center, after which he will meet with Russian literature experts that specialize in Dostoevsky’s works.
LAVROV TO HOLD TALKS WITH MALIAN COUNTERPART
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with Malian Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop, who will be in Moscow on an official visit.
The two will discuss counter-terrorist efforts in Africa, in particular, in Mali and the Sahel region, as well as cooperation in the UN and in the Russia-Africa summit. The meeting will also focus on developing bilateral ties in political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other fields.
EXTENDED TROIKA MEETING ON AFGHANISTAN TO CONVENE IN PAKISTAN
A meeting of the extended Troika format on Afghanistan, consisting of Russia, China, Pakistan and the US, will convene in Islamabad.
Special representatives for Afghanistan from the US, China, Russia and Pakistan will attend the meeting. They might be joined by acting Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who might also extend his trip to Pakistan for bilateral consultations.
The sides will discuss the future of the Afghan government and their expectations regarding its composition and policies.
GERMAN PRESIDENT TO MEET BELARUSIAN OPPOSITION LEADER
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will hold a closed-door meeting with ex-presidential candidate and Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO HOLD PLENARY MEETING
The plenary meeting of the UN General Assembly will be held in New York.
On the agenda of the meeting are elections of committee officials and a presentation of the annual report of the International Criminal Court. The UNGA is also expected to debate and sign a draft resolution on strengthening of the United Nations system.
The meeting will start at 10:00 local time, or 15:00 GMT.
UN SECURITY COUNCIL TO LAUNCH CONSULTATIONS ON SYRIA, YEMEN
The UN Security Council will hold consultations on the situation in Syria and Yemen.
UK FOREIGN MINISTER TO VISIT INDONESIA
UK Foreign Minister Liz Truss will arrive in Indonesia as part of her Southeast Asian tour.
The aim of the visit is to strengthen the UK’s relationship with the country, build closer ties on infrastructure investment into the region and boost cooperation on the Clean Green Initiative.
During her stay in Indonesia, Truss will meet with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi for talks on economic diplomacy, trade and foreign policy issues including the Myanmar crisis and Afghanistan. She is also expected to meet with the ASEAN Secretary General to discuss further cooperation.
US’ SHERMAN TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN PERU
US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will hold a press conference during her official visit to Peru’s capital of Lima.
Sherman has been on tour in Uruguay and Peru to discuss a range of issues with senior government officials, including human rights, migration and the climate. She is also expected to have met with representatives of the indigenous community during her trip.

OPEC will publish its monthly report on the oil market.

EU INNOVATION COMMISSIONER TO VISIT DENMARK
European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Mariya Gabriel will arrive in Denmark’s Copenhagen with an official visit.

The 4th Paris Peace Forum will be held from November 11-13 in a hybrid format.
