RUSSIAN, AZERBAIJANI, ARMENIAN LEADERS TO MEET IN SOCHI

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have trilateral talks in the Russian city of Sochi. The leaders will focus on implementation of the agreements between the three countries on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, concluded on November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021. The officials will also draw up further steps to strengthen stability and establish peace in the region.

TOP RUSSIAN, CHINESE, INDIAN DIPLOMATS TO HAVE VIRTUAL TALKS

Russian, Chinese, and Indian foreign ministers will have their 18th meeting via videoconference, presided over by India’s top diplomat. Sergey Lavrov, Wang Yi, and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar will focus on further measures to strengthen trilateral cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues.

NATO’S STOLTENBERG TO HOLD BRIEFING IN BRUSSELS

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will hold a press conference in the Belgian capital ahead of a meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member countries on Tuesday and Wednesday in Riga. The event will take place at 14:00 GMT and will be streamed live on the official website of the alliance.

UK, EU TO RESUME TALKS ON NORTHERN IRELAND PROTOCOL

UK´s Brexit minister David Frost and European Commission Vice President Maroš Šefčovič will meet in London to discuss the Northern Ireland Protocol, which regulates trade between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

BRICS MINISTERIAL SUMMIT ON SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGIES TO TAKE PLACE

The BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Ministerial Meeting will be held virtually under the chairmanship of India. The summit will involve ministers from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, and will provide participants with an understanding of institutional and financial frameworks for key BRICS projects relating to technology and innovation.
