According to the sensational songstress, winning an award as a gospel singer is not wrong, but it is not her main goal.

She believes that receiving recognition for your work as a gospel musician is a sign of appreciation.

Ewuraba Eesi, a renowned gospel singer, responded in an exclusive interview with Nana Quasi Wusu PMdepresenter on Y 97.9 FM in Takoradi when asked about her stance on awards in gospel music, she responded that “…for me as much as I am not working solely for an award I also feel appreciated when I am awarded because it tells that I’m doing something for God that God has really appreciated and people have also appreciated”

She added “There is nothing wrong with winning an award. It’s all part and parcel of the packaging”

The singer of ‘The Grace’ is currently on a media tour promoting her latest single titled ‘Nya Confidence’, which is available on all digital streaming platforms.

Ewuraba Eesi gained fame in 2013 with her debut studio album called “Confidence”.

Ewuraba Eesi is a talented gospel artist who has received various awards in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the music industry. She won the Best Gospel Song of the Year award at the Western Music Awards in 2022, and she has also been named Gospel Artist of the Year at the Ghana Youth Awards and Ghana Innovation Awards in 2020. She was also nominated for the National Gospel Music Awards in 2020 and the Western Gospel Awards in 2021, where she won the Female Gospel Artiste of the Year award. Overall, she has achieved many great accomplishments in her career.

She is behind hits like ‘Aseda, Gyinapintsin, Perfect Love, Afehyia Pa, and The Grace’ featuring the Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat sensation, Nero X.

The prominent vocalist has presented her musical prowess at various significant occasions both locally and internationally, with a focus on the Western Region.

In the year 2023, Ewuraba Eesi organized a big Gospel music concert called the ‘Arukah Xperience’. The concert featured some of the biggest names in Gospel music like Nana Yaw Asare, Diana Hammond, and a host of others. The concert was a huge success and attracted many music enthusiasts, fans, and Christians from different backgrounds. This helped the woman to establish herself as one of the top players in the Gospel music industry.
She is arguably the most decorated, highly gifted, and revered female Gospel musician from Sekondi-Takoradi.
