Agriculture forms the backbone of most economies in the developing world. Aside guaranteeing constant food supply, it also employs a large portion of the population. Sadly, there is very little funding for small and medium scale agri-businesses by banks and private equity firms. The lack of attractive business plans to woo investors into the sector also seems to have compounded the situation.
The National Food and Agric Show – FAGRO – is a trailblazer platform that brings stakeholders in the agric industry together every year toshowcase products and innovations in the sector while forging mutually-beneficial networking opportunities.
This year’s edition will hold from September 28 to 30 at the Ghana International Trade Fair Site and it’s expected to attract over five hundred (500) farmers, students, entrepreneurs and other industry players from all parts of the country.
Other activities at this year’s event include exhibition, B2B Meetings and a Farm tour to a Green house farm.
