The initiative aims to set a standard of cleanliness in the capital territory

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is to engage 300 youths for the cleanup exercise in the area councils of the territory.

Minister of state for the territory, Olajumoke Akinjide, made this known at the inauguration meeting of the ministerial committee on the ?Clean and Green Great Abuja? initiative.

Akinjide said that the committee has the mandate to ensure the cleaning and greening of satellite towns and highways within the FCT; adding that the initiative is to set a standard of cleanliness in the six area councils.
