Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has named a strong 20-man squad for the 2015 COSAFA Cup that includes some key players of the senior team like goalkeeper Fatau Dauda and Stephen Adams Africanfootball.com has exclusively reported.?

The list includes the Ghana Premier League?s leading scorer Nathaniel Asamaoh, who has managed to score 12 goals in 13 matches in the Ghana top-flight.

However, the squad is dominated by players from league leaders AshantiGold and title holders Asante Kotoko with four players each in the 20-man squad.

And there was no player from the in-form Hearts of Oak side as it looks as if their participation in continental club matches has prevented them from training with the squad and could affect their preparation for their second-leg clash with Esperance in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ghana?s squad also includes six players who played at the 2014 African Nations Championship

The home-based national team have been invited as a guest nation to the tournament meant for Southern African Nations.

Ghana will face the winner from Group B- which contains Lesotho, Madagascar, Swaziland and Tanzania- at the quarter-final stage on 24 May.

The team have been in camp in Accra since Monday and expected to leave Accra on Thursday.
