A fire is ravaging through the Coconut Grove Hotel, an international hotel here in Ghana’s capital Saturday.
Fire fighters from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) are having a hard time, putting the flames under control.
The hotel, owned by Paa Kwesi Nduoum, a leading business executive and leader of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) in the country’s December 2016 General Election, is located close to the headquarters of Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) and is about two minutes drive from the GNFS headquarters.
Within the premises are also a branch of GN Bank, Amansan Tele Vision (ATV) and Business Television Africa (BTA), all owned by the Group Nduoum (GN).
The hotel, made of locally-made bricks and wooden materials, hosted major international and local conferences regularly. Enditem
