FK Jagodina trainer has blamed the current weather condition in Ghana for his side’s 5-0 loss to Asante Kotoko last Sunday in the Ghanaian side’s 80th Anniversary Cup match.
The Serbian side that came in as late replacement for Greek side Veria FC arrived in Ghana less than 24 hours before the game was played and they failed to march the Ghanaian giants.
Asante Kotoko never showed any mercy as they took total control of the game and pummeled the visitors by five unanswered goals sending strong signals to their opponents ahead of the G6 kickoff.
But FK Jagodina acting coach Vladica Milanovic has attributed his side’s blackout performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to the current weather conditions in Ghana.
“We have very good team, you must believe me. But the weather condition in Ghana cause our defeat. Because during the game at the touch line, I had problem with my breath same as my players and it affected my team performance on the field,” the coach noted.
