Mr Abu Mahama, the Shama District Planning Officer explained that the 2020 Annual Action Plan (AAP) for the assembly, which Incorporated all segments of development required some GHC16,408, 047.65 to execute.

The AAP, which covers economics, social, environment, Governance and International relations was aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals and in line with the government of Ghana’s vision to accelerate development.

Mr Mahama said in all, 197 projects or activities were expected to be implemented with the funds, covering 51 percent GOG, 26 percent IGF and 22 percent donor funds.
