The veteran actor died in China Tuesday April 12 [around midnight local time] after battling kidney failure for some years.
The actor was undergoing kidney treatment in the Asian country when he passed away. He was billed to return to Ghana on Sunday.
Film producer Socrates Sarfo confirmed the news of the actor’s passing to ClassFMonline.com.
Mr Odoi Mensah starred in several Ghanaian movies with such notable persons as Grace Nortey, Brew Riverson Junior, Victor Lutterodt, and others.
