Three children were genuiely drown in May,2012 in the a gutter at the ongoing Sofoline interchange construction.Investigations later on did prove the cause of death was drowning. However,a recent drowning of a 12-year-old boy has raised concerns and mischiefs after the boy was analyzed by the Police at Sofoline in Kumasi.

Reports indicate the Police at Sofoline did find wounds suspected to be cutlass wounds on the victim?s body.As at now,the child has not been identified by anyone and it seem to raise questions about the real cause of death.

The unidentified 12-year-old?s body was found in a pool of water at the ongoing interchange project site. Police are uncertain and suspect the body was dumped in the gutter looking at the shallow nature of the gutter which makes it highly impossible to drown a person.

According to the crime officer at Sofoline Police Station,a post mortem will be conducted to arrive at a certain and confirmed cause of death very soon.
