Mr Edward Amankwah, Founder of the foundation told Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra at the weekend, that he started the organisation on February 27, 2014 to cater especially for children with autism and cerebral palsy since his child has a serious condition.

? I use my own resources and the little I get out of donations to visit children at home with detergents, diapers among other gifts and I believe if I am able to establish a centre I could cater for more children since cerebral palsy care is not very common in Ghana,? he said.

Mr Amankwah therefore appealed to public-spirited individuals and organisations to come to his aid to make the dream possible.

The general aim of GNLF is to advance the healthcare needs of the poor, the disadvantaged, marginalised, socially and economically deprived children and the aged.
