Four individuals, including an expatriate, have been found safe and sound after they were reported missing on Friday in the Cascades region of western Burkina Faso, source said on Sunday in Ouagadougou.
Minister of Digital Economy and Postal Development Hadja Fatimata Ouattara confirmed the information but gave no details on the conditions of the release of the four individuals.
The four people were part of a team working on a national telecommunications project. They were reported missing on Friday morning in the Cascades region.
“The vehicle carrying the team was found with the doors fully open but without its passengers,” said Minister of Digital Economy and Postal Development Hadja Fatimata Ouattara, as disclosing their disappearance on Friday.
According to the statement, the team was found missing on the road between the towns of Ouo and Sideradougou, in the western part of Burkina Faso. Enditem
