dpa/GNA – The Group of Seven major economic powers have boosted by more than 4 billion US dollars their financial pledges for the global vaccination campaign in poorer countries, G7 leaders said.

According to a summit statement, they planned to make 2021 a “turning point for multilateralism.”

The leaders also raised the prospects of stronger joint action to deal with China, which is regularly accused of unfair trade practices, calling for “collective approaches” to deal with practices and policies that are “not market-oriented.”
