Mujahid Ahmed Bello known in the music circles as “Fancy Gadam”, has earned a nomination, as the Most Promising Entertainer for the 37th International Reggae and World Music (IRAWMA) to be held in Kingston, Jamaica.

Fancy Gadam shares the category with top global acts like Bass Odyssey, Koffee, Dalton Harris, Kabaka Pyramid, among others.

In an interview with GNA Entertainment after receiving the nomination, Fancy Gadam expressed his delight upon the recognition by top international awards body and urged fans to vote for him to help secure the award.

Commenting on the recent nominations in the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he said, ” I didn’t file any of my songs in this year’s award, so I wasn’t expecting any nomination”.’
Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, grabbed the Best African Song at the last edition of the IRAWMA.
