The 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) commenced on August 26, 2024, at the newly renovated Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.
The Congress brings together 124 delegates from Premier League clubs, Women’s Premier League teams, Division One League clubs, and Regional Football Associations.
During the Congress, attendees will review the 2023-24 season activities and discuss plans for the 2024-25 football season.
GFA President Kurt Okraku will update delegates on ongoing strategic initiatives and new proposals.
The agenda includes a blend of formal and informal activities. Monday’s events feature fun games, group discussions on football-related issues, and several special events, including a presentation, photo session, interviews, and the groundbreaking for a new gym and swimming pool.
Delegates will also tour the updated accommodation facilities.
The main session of the Congress is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27. The focus will soon shift to the upcoming season, with the Ghana Premier League set to begin on September 6.
