The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will hold its presidential election on August 17 in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region, the FA?s executive committee announced here on Thursday.
The road map to the 2015 GFA poll begins from July 13 when nominations for the election of the president will be officially opened.
Election of representatives from the constituent bodies will also be held on September 28, 2015, the association said.
Incumbent FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has been in charge of the federation since 2005 and is widely tipped to sweep the votes due to his popularity with the delegates.
Nyantakyi, who is also an executive member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), enjoys a lot of goodwill from the football fraternity.
The entire election process is expected to end on November, 10, 2015.
