
Ghana’s Black Queens are confident of winning the second leg of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualifier against the Harambee Starlets of Kenya.
The first leg ended 0-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium, making the second leg a do-and-die affair.
Coach Mercy Tagoe- Quarcoo believes in her Queens and ahead of the crucial second leg encounter with the Harambee Starlets of Kenya, she has made three changes to her starting line up to get victory at all cost in 90 minutes.
The Queens drew 0-0 with Kenyans at the Accra Sports Stadium setting an all important crucial winner takes all return leg in Kasarani Stadium this afternoon.
The Queens coach will feature three new faces in her squad; Ampem Darkoa winger Mavis Owusu, Sea Lions playmaker Elizabeth Owusuaa and experienced Portia Boakye.
The winner of this game moves to next stage of qualifiers.
Meanwhile favorites, the Super Falcons of Nigeria and Bayana Bayana of South Africa have been knocked out of the tournament by Cote D’Ivoire and Botswana respectively.
