Executives of a newly formed national sports association, Ghana Droughts Association have been officially recognized and sworn into office by the National Sports Authority (NSA).

The GDA was presented with registration certificate and license to operate after meeting all the requirements as contained in the Sports Act, 2016 (Act 934). The Association being 44th Sporting Association in Ghana and the first traditional sports association was tasked to work hard in all the 16 regions and also prepare to participate in the 2023 African Games to be hosted by Ghana.
