The Ghana Employers Association (GEA) has urged organizational leaders to implement flexible working environments to support women.

At the 10th anniversary event of Women in Human Resources in Ghana, GEA representative Yvonne Asare Yeboah emphasized that such flexibility could enhance organizational success.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations have adapted by integrating technology and digital solutions to improve work conditions.

To build on these advancements, the GEA has organized a workshop for Human Resource practitioners to develop strategies and policies for transforming workplace environments.

Yeboah highlighted the benefits of flexible work arrangements for female staff, noting that such measures could help women balance professional and personal responsibilities.

“Balancing work with family responsibilities can be challenging for many women, especially due to biological roles. Flexible arrangements, like adjusted hours, could enable women to contribute more effectively,” she said.

She also called for a supportive regulatory framework from the government to further assist organizations in fostering growth and inclusivity.
