The Ghana FA Normalization Committee’s(NC) special competition for women will kick off on March 9, the NC said in a release on Monday.
Sixteen teams, made up of eight clubs each in the northern and southern sectors, will compete in four groups of four teams each.
The top two in each group, at the end of the home-and-away group matches, will advance to the quarterfinals.
The grand finale of the special tournament will take place on April 12.
The competition is expected to fill the void caused by the suspension of all domestic football following the revelations in a documentary that exposed football corruption and bribery in June last year. Enditem
