The Ghana Ministry of Health (MOH) is urgently initiating the recruitment of 15,200 nurses and midwives nationwide, starting from Monday, August 5, 2024.
This recruitment drive aims to address critical staff shortages across healthcare facilities.
The President of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has expressed concerns about potential unrest among current nursing staff due to the influx of recruits.
Applicants are reminded to submit their applications through the MOH online portal at https://hr.moh.gov.gh before the crucial deadline on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 6:00 pm, to ensure their eligibility for the recruitment process.
The Ministry reiterates that the application process is entirely free of charge. Applicants are strongly advised to be cautious and avoid falling for fraudulent schemes that falsely promise job placements in exchange for money.
To qualify for consideration, candidates must possess either a three-year nursing diploma or a four-year nursing degree for Registered General Nurses or complete a three-year midwifery program for Registered Midwives from accredited institutions.
This initiative is of utmost importance as it aims to enhance healthcare delivery by filling critical positions within the health sector and ensuring adequate support for public health services nationwide.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the Ministry’s official portal for further details on eligibility and application procedures.
