The Ghana Police Service has apprehended Nana Poku Piesie, also known as Kwabena, following his public admission on Sompa FM of sexually abusing a minor over several years, from her sixth grade to high school completion at Kumasi Academy.
The arrest comes amidst widespread condemnation and calls for justice, including from prominent figures such as Michael Owusu Addo, known as Sarkodie. In response to public outcry, the police confirmed the arrest via social media on Tuesday, July 16, emphasizing that the suspect is in custody and actively cooperating with ongoing investigations, keeping the public informed and updated.
Authorities have assured the public that the accused will face the full extent of legal repercussions for his alleged actions.
