The Ghana Police Service has successfully rescued Sylvia Patience Baah, the Airport Services Manager for Emirates Airlines in Accra, following her alleged kidnapping. The victim has been reunited with her family, who are reportedly in good spirits after the ordeal.
A statement from the police confirmed that efforts are ongoing to apprehend those responsible for the incident. “We want to assure the public that we will bring the perpetrators to face justice,” the statement read, also thanking individuals who provided crucial information during the rescue operation.
Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare personally spoke with Baah and her family after the rescue, offering support during this difficult time. Additionally, a team of police medical officers and clinical psychologists has been assigned to assist the family in coping with the emotional impact of the kidnapping.
