Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo left Ghana Tuesday night for a three-day official visit to Qatar.

Akufo-Addo, as co-chair of the Group of Advocates of Eminent Persons of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, will attend the world innovation summit for education, whilst in Qatar, and deliver the keynote address at the meeting, the presidency said in a release.

He will also hold bilateral talks with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on ways to deepen and strengthen the ties of co-operation existing between both nations for the mutual benefit of their peoples, said the release. Enditem
