He said although certain events and incidents might have dipped the support and love Ghanaian have for the senior national soccer team, all was not lost.
Alhaji Lamin, who is the chairman of the Asante Kotoko Africa Campaign Planning Committee, told the Ghana News Agency, in an interview that, ?Players, officials and all stakeholders have learnt their lessons the hard way and I believe this time around, things would be done differently.?
He said: ?It is too easy to pick and blame when things go wrong but I prefer to rally support and to look into the future where we as Ghanaians can have hope based on proper planning and commitment to national aspirations.?
Alhaji Lamin called on Ghanaian football administrators to run their clubs purely on business and professional lines in order to bring out the best in local players and themselves which would ultimately endear the local league to Ghanaians.
?Every football fun loves a good football match and we must make that happen for our people to enjoy the local game?, he said.
