Ghana central bank announced here late Monday the retirement of its First Deputy Governor Millison Narh from the bank.
A statement issued by the Communications Department of Bank of Ghana said the outgoing First Deputy Governor announced his retirement to President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Monday afternoon during a courtesy call on the president.
The President thanked Narh for his years of dedicated service to the country and wished him well in his retirement.
Narh, who was appointed the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank in July, 2009, was subsequently promoted to the First Deputy Governorship position in July, 2013.
He had previously served as Director of Training at the Bank of Ghana Training School. Enditem
