Coach Kwasi Appiah

Tension seems to be brewing among players of the Black Stars ahead of Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah 30-man provisional list announcement next month.

Coach Appiah?s declaration that he has no automatic choice for the Brazil soccer fiesta but will pick players based on current form has further heightened the players fears.

While injury has hit some potential players, most of them like skipper Asamoah Gyan, petit striker Abdul Majeed Waris, David Accam, Christian Atsu, Afful Harrison, John Mensah, John Boye among others   have hit fine form to offer more options for Coach Appiah.

On May 25, the Black Stars trainer will announce his 25-man squad that will face Holland in a pre World Cup international friendly on May 31 scheduled for Rotterdam.

From there, he will drop two players and settle on his final 23-man side that will be heading to the USA for their final preparation for the Mundial in June.

Appiah, before leaving for Liverpool for a refresher course last week, said on Happy FM that ?I will submit a 30-man squad to FIFA early next month.
?But after the game against Holland we would have settled on the required 23 players that will represent Ghana.?

The Black Stars will be based in Los Angeles, USA, where they will play Honduras before heading to Brazil.

Ghana will begin their search for yet another feat in the football highest platform in an expected crunch opener with USA in Group G before facing Germany and Portugal.
