Christian Atsu opened the scores in the third minute when he calmly connected a set up by Andre Ayew, whilst Kwesi Appiah increased the tally in the 43rd minute.

According to coach Dussuyer, the early goal disrupted their plans for the game and unsettled his players, compelling them to commit several errors.

Speaking at a post-match press conference, coach Dussuyer said that, his players did not play their usual game and this allowed a lot of dominance from Ghana.

The coach said, the second goal scored by Ghana made it worse for his team as his players became more confused.

?We committed a lot of errors and the Ghanaian team, which is made up of more experienced players capitalised on them to punish us.

?I think the strength and quality of the Ghanaian team was exhibited in the game against us. Now we have to look forward into the future and plan.?

The coach commended the Black Stars for displaying excellent quality and tipped them for honours in the competition.
