Her victory over Ugandan opponent Patra Nasirumbi 4-2 (5-11, 11-8, 14-12, 8-11, 11-9, 11-4) in a thrilling quarter-final match is a moment of pride and inspiration for all.
Under the unwavering guidance of Coach Cynthia Kwabi, Borteye’s determination was a sight to behold throughout the tournament. She not only dominated the group stages with victories over Karolina Shigwedha of Namibia (3-0) and Rethabile Motsamai of Botswana (3-0), but also showcased her resilience with a comprehensive win over Tina Andriantahina of Madagascar (4-0) in the round of 16.
