Representatives of the Ghana Music Rights Organization, GHAMRO and MUSIGA have visited Abrantie Amakye Dede at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where he is receiving treatment. The delegation led by Kojo Antwi paid a visit to the injured musician on Sunday, January 3, 2015.
Persons who joined Kojo Antwi to Korle-Bu were, MUSIGA president, Obour, GHAMRO first vice chairman, Bandex, GHAMRO Administrator, Agya Abraham, Obuoba JA Adofo, Rex Omar and other members of the association. Bandex briefing Zionfelix.com on the current state of the musician said “he is doing fine and hopefully, he will be discharged on Monday or the day after”.
MUSIGA President Obour shared this on social media: “Visited Amakye Dede with other Giants in the Music Industry. He is recovering. We thank God in all things we give him praise. He knows best”.
Amakye Dede and his team which included Isaac Yeboah and his bodyguard were involved in an accident at Bonsu Junction in the Eastern region on New Year’s Day.
Amakye Dede got out of a mangled car with bruises while his bodyguard has been left in critical condition. Isaac Yeboah was killed instantly.
Amakye Dede was on Saturday afternoon transferred to Korle-Bu Teaching where we are told he is responding to treatment.
