The Global Evangelical Church Adonai Chapel in Madina, has climaxed the 20th Anniversary celebration of its Praises and Worship Team, known as the Fountain of Praise.

The week-long celebration was on the theme: “Behold I Do a New Thing”.

The colourful night of worship and praises, which climaxed all activities marking the 20th Anniversary of the Fountain of Praise, was attended by different choirs such as Teshie Global Evangelical Church Choir, South La Global Evangelical Church Choir, the Legon
Interdenominational Church Choir and the Bethel Choir of the Global Evangelical Church – Kotobabi branch.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on the sideline of the event, Reverend Prince Yao Tefe, the Parish Pastor of the Adonai Chapel of the Global Evangelical Church, expressed gratitude to God for how far he had brought them as a Church.

He said the celebration was about the faithfulness of God in such difficulties that they found themselves in.

“There is no other source of joy or encouragement for us but to turn to God in such times. And when we turn to him and serve him faithfully, he will always prove his faithfulness unto us,” he stated.

He said: “All we are saying to night as a family is that come and see what the Lord has done! Come and see what the Lord has done for us as a family. That is why we are gathered here tonight to show him our gratitude and our appreciation.”

“We know that we have not yet arrived but we are not where we used be either. The Lord has been faithful to us.”

Rev Tefe urged the congregants to be grateful to God for what he’s doing and continues to do in their lives.

The congregants worshipped, sung praises and danced to the glory of God.
