Goalkeeper Daniel Agyei is eyeing a dream move to Premier League Champions Asante Kotoko.

The Kumasi-based club is planning a coup d?etat move for the 22-year-old who has impressed heavily for Liberty Professionals for the past four seasons.

It has been scooped that talks between the two teams over the agile glovesman has reached an advanced stage and the ex-Ghana youth star has revealed his long cherished dream of playing for the Porcupine Warriors.

?I am delighted at the chance of playing for Kotoko,? Agyei told Kumasi-based Hello FM

?Talks between Kotoko and Liberty officials are far advanced and it is my hope that a deal will be completed in a short time,?

?I am looking forward to joining them because I have many friends in the team and want to win more cups for the club,?

?I am sure Kotoko will help me win those cups. When the news came to me that there was a possibility of joining them, I was so excited.?

The Black Stars second choice shot-stopper will face stiff competition to dislodge Burkinabe Abdoulaye Soulama.

But he will join the local giants with an enormous worth of experience at his back having won the Fifa Under-20 World Youth Championship in 2009 with the Black Satellites.

He is a penalty kick stopper, agile and widely seen as the future for Ghana.
