Mr, Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has hailed hard working sports journalists on the occasion of International Sports Journalists Day 2020.
He urged the media to report the truth and positive news that will transform the nation for better, and shun negative news that tarnish reputation of respected people in society,
He said the media must put up news that would encourage the corporate bodies to sponsor sporting activities and programmes.
He commended the leadership of the AIPS, AIPS Africa and SWAG.
“I wish Gianni Merlo, Mitchel Obi, Evelyn Watta, and Kwabena Yeboah all the best” he expressed.
