According to the Minister who is also the Member of Parliament(MP) for Gomoa Central, the contractor would construct an additional Water Closet toilet to the facility.

The Project, which would be completed in three months, is being financed under the one Million Dollars per Constituency policy introduced by the government to give the needed facelift of all 275 constituencies nationwide.

She said information reaching her office indicated that enrollment of Jukwa-Ada Kindergarten(KG) / Primary and Junior High School had increased, hence, the need to provide additional school blocks.

The Deputy Minister said a KG block, being constructed at Jukwa had reached lintel level and would be handed over by the contractor before school reopened for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The MP gave the assurance that President Akufo-Addo’s administration would do its best to share developmental projects equally to all communities in the constituency when the party was given the second term mandate.

Mr. Benjamin Kojo Otoo, District Chief Executive said the constituency has had tremendous infrastructural development within the three and half years of Akufo-Addo’s government.

He said the government would transform the economy through human development, hence, the rolling out of the free Senior High School education and other social interventions as some of its pragmatic policies and programmes to promote quality living standards for the people.

The DCE noted that all development projects promised by the MP had been fulfilled to improve the well-being of the people and it was important for them to reciprocate by voting massively for Mrs Eyiah Quansah and President Akufo-Addo to continue the excellent work.

Nana Kweku Amoh Aggrey, Obaatan of Gomoa Jukwa expressed his greatest appreciation to Mrs Eyiah Quansah and President Akufo-Addo for initiating the six-unit classroom block for the town.

He expressed delight that the KG block had reached lintel level and another six-unit classroom block was being constructed to promote quality education for the children in the area.

Nana Aggrey said since 2009, the people of Gomoa Jukwa had reignited the self-help spirit and had made voluntary contributions to construct some school projects.

He hoped the quality life of the people at Jukwa and its adjoining towns would further improve when the President was given the second nod in the December polls.
