The Gomoa Central Constituency Executives and members of the New Patriotic Party, have expressed their heartfelt gratitude President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for nominating Mrs Naana Eyiah Quansah, Member of Parliament (MP)for the area for Ministerial appointment.
The Member of Parliament has been nominated as the Deputy Minister designate for Lands, Forestry and Natural Resources.
“This nomination does not only reflect the massive support and confidence reposed in the people of Gomoa, but also the good works being carried out by the MP for Gomoa Central Constituency” .
These were contained in a statement issued by the Gomoa Central NPP and signed by Mr. Enyan-Hackeem, Constituency Secretary of the party and copied to the GNA.
It said: “This is the first time a native of Gomoa Central has been made a Minister under NPP government since 1992 and it is our hope and prayer that the Almighty God will strengthen, protect, guide and make your hopes and aspirations for the country manifest in a million folds”.
It further stated that if approved by Parliament, her administration as Deputy Minister would inure to the benefit of all Ghanaians, most especially the people of Gomoa Central.
The statement assured the MP and the President the constituency’s total commitment and unflinching support to make the Ministry succeed beyond expectation.
It praised the Central Regional Executives of NPP under the Chairmanship of Mr. Robert Kutin Jnr for their guidance and direction which had brought greatest honour to Gomoa Central Constituency.
