Gospel singer Jack Alolome publicly pledged his support for former President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the party’s campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.

Alolome, known for his influential music, preferred Mahama over the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration in the upcoming December elections.

“Mahama has governed Ghana before, and despite doubts during his tenure, I believe in his administration compared to the current government,” Alolome declared during his performance at the event.

The singer highlighted a song he composed for Mahama, emphasizing his endorsement of the former president’s leadership qualities and policies.

Alolome’s endorsement echoed sentiments from other performers at the campaign launch, including King Ayisoba and Maccacio, who also expressed their support for the NDC’s bid to reclaim power.

The NDC’s campaign kickoff in Tamale featured impassioned performances and endorsements, underscoring growing momentum ahead of the highly anticipated elections.
