Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State has approved the constitution of high powered standing task force Committee on Allocation of Yerwa Peace Housing Estate located along Jos road Maiduguri yesterday.

A statement issued and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Administration and General Services on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government SSG Ambassador Baba Ahmed Jiddah and made available to newsmen in Maiduguri the governor has approved a 14-man Task Force headed by an Islamic Scholar and Chief Imam of University of Maiduguri Central Mosque, Sheikh Goni Ali Gapchiya as Chairman.

Other members of the task force include the State Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Kaka Shehu Lawan, Commissioner of Information band Home Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Bulama, Dr. Shettima Bukata Mullins, Abubakar Tijani, Sheikh Abubakar Kyari, Sheikh Tijani Umara, Alhaji Ahmed Ashemi, Bukar Kurama (Tanda), Baba Aisami Ngananman and Muhammad Maina.

The rest include Alhaji Ali Modu Tela, Dr. Babagana Umara Zulum, Alhaji Njodi Ngurmo and Alhaji Muhammed Hassan, the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet and Political Affairs as Secretary of the committee.
The committee has two weeks to submit its comprehensive report to the state government.
