Mr Nkrumah, who announced this on Tuesday when briefing the media on the update on count and case management, said the objective of the EI 164 was to compel all persons within public places and who are in contact with others to wear the facemasks.
This, the Minister, explained was necessary to curb the rate at which the positive person who can infect others can spread the virus.
“Generally, what we expect is compliance from the public for the greater public good because you may not know that you are a positive person who can infect others”, he added.
