Accra Great Olympics, one of Ghana’s most loved Premier League sides have released four experienced players from their squad due to unsatisfactory performances, local media reports claim.
Former Ghana league winner Godfred Saka and the former league top scorer Emmanuel Clottey are two key names among the dismissed players.
The rest are Ashittey Olenu (formerly of Hearts of Oak) and former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Ernest Sowah.
Olympics recruited the services of these seasoned names to help their cause in the Ghana Premier League season.
However after 15 matches, the club has struggled to impress and now lie in the drop zone.
It is believed in an attempt to bolster the squad and boost their survival chances they have made these changes.
