A collision involving multiple vehicles—an SUV, a saloon car, and a Toyota bus—has led to extensive traffic congestion on the Tema-bound side of the Accra-Tema motorway.
The incident occurred on Monday, July 29, between Toyota Ghana and the Axle Weighing Station, disrupting traffic during peak hours.
Authorities have advised motorists travelling towards Tema to seek alternative routes to avoid prolonged delays as emergency services work to clear the affected area.
This collision follows a similar incident last week, which also resulted in significant traffic disruptions along the same stretch of the motorway.
Efforts are underway to resolve the gridlock and restore normal traffic conditions, though commuters are urged to exercise caution and patience while navigating the area.
