Striker Asamoah Gyan is looking to help Ghana win massively in the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.

The Black Stars must record a resounding result in the first leg of the ultimate qualifier to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 8.

This will ensure the second leg game away will be a mere formality in seeing the Black Stars pick up one of 15 slots for the finals to be hosted in South African early next year.

And Asamoah who will be making his competitive return after an almost six-month break from the side recognizes the need to rake in the goals.

?It?s [Malawi game] one of the important games we have this year. I think people are expecting us to win and we will give Ghanaians what they want at the Accra Sports Stadium,? Gyan said.

?We need to be scoring more goals in the first leg and see in Malawi. I learnt they are every good team.

?I haven?t seen them playing and I believe in the Black Stars.

?I feel comfortable with them and we can play any team at all. Definitely we will carry the day.?

Ghana will engage Liberia in a friendly game in Monrovia three days after the first leg tie before travelling for the second leg encounter.
