Family members of Nii Dzan We, a royal family of Otu Blohum in the Ga Manshie of the Greater Accra Region, have called on?indigence?of the Ga State to use the funeral rites of the late former Minister of Education, Mr. Harry Sawyerr to unite.

SAM_0870According to them, Ga State has been experiencing some disunity which is not good for the socio-economic development of the Ga State and the nation as a whole, hence the need to forge ahead in unity.

The Dzaasehene of Nii Dzan We family, Nana Darko-Djan II made the call in an interview with journalists when delegation of chiefs and queens from the Akwamu Traditional Council were at the residence of the late Sawyerr to sign the book of condolence.

He said, the late Sawyerr was a true statesman whose commitment to national and family duties contributed significantly to the socio-political and economic development in the country.

He thanked the delegation for sympathizing with the family and expressed the hope that they will all come together and give the late Sawyerr a befitting burial.
