Former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has cautioned Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame against appealing the Court of Appeal’s decision to acquit and discharge Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson in the ambulance case.
Haruna Iddrisu has pointed out that any appeal by the AG, following the Court of Appeal’s ruling overturning the trial court’s directive for Dr Ato Forson to defend himself, could lead to further embarrassment.
In a parliamentary session filled with celebration over Dr. Ato Forson’s exoneration, Haruna Iddrisu remarked, “I hear the Attorney General, instead of humbly accepting this, is considering litigating further.
Haruna Iddrisu has made it clear that the case lacks legal merit, and he warns the AG that any further pursuit of the case could lead to further disgrace.
The Court of Appeal’s decision marked a significant turn in the legal proceedings, prompting Iddrisu to urge legal prudence in future litigations.
