Governor of Ekiti state, Governor Ayodele Fayose

Following the spate of attacks between the Hausa community and some indigenes, the Governor of Ekiti state, Governor Ayodele Fayose ordered as well as supervised the evacuation of the Hausas from their previous abode in Atikankan in Ado Ekiti to Sasa along Ikere road.

On thursday,the Hausas burnt down a portion of Ado-ekiti market after they were attacked by masked thugs on Wednesday.

The governor had previously ordered a curfew in the state from dusk to dawn but despite that, the Hausas were still able to burn some part of the market.

The government has said it is apportioning any blame to anyone but it?s best to relocate the Hausas to another place for safety.
